Dr. Bhardwaj did her graduation in 2000 from Punjab Agricultural University, India. She did her Master of Veterinary Science in 2002 (biochemistry major and minor physiology) from Indian Veterinary Research Institute. 

In 2006 she completed her PhD (biochemistry major and minor physiology and immunology) from Indian Veterinary Research Institute.

In 2006 Dr. Bhardwaj moved to Canada and got licence from ABVMA (Alberta Veterinary Medical Association) and CVO (College of Veterinarians of Ontario).

In 2009, she started her first job as a Veterinarian in Alberta . In 2010 she moved to Stratford and joined Avon pet hospital . In 2011 she bought Avon Pet Hospital and since then she is the sole owner of the practice.

Dr Bhardwaj lives in Stratford with her husband and three children. She is also proud mom of four legged fortune ( dog) and Gary (cat). In free time, Dr. Bhardwaj enjoy gardening, interior designing and spending time with family and working for the community.

Jenna is a Registered Veterinary Technician. She graduated from St. Clair College in 2020. She joined our team in October 2021.Jenna loves the most about her job is seeing her patients go back home healthy and happy. She lives in Stratford with her husband Cody, and fur babies Luna and Mars. 

In her spare time she enjoys reading, going on hikes with her dogs and spending time with her family.

Emma first joined our team as a co-op student in 2012. 

She has a diverse background in animal care, and exemplifies a lifelong commitment to the well-being of all animals great and small. 

At home, Emma shares her life with a trio of adoring poodles, two charming cats, and a delightful turtle!

Danielle joined our team as a Veterinary Assistant in August of 2023. She has always had a passion for working with animals, spending a lot of her childhood and teen years helping out friends on farms, riding horses, pet-sitting, assisting animal groomers and learning the basics of animal care. 

Her favorite part of the job is helping anxious patients feel calm and safe in the clinic.

In her spare time, you can find Danielle curled up with her two cats, Apricot and Earl Grey, reading or playing music. She also has a passion for traveling the world and seeing everything it has to offer. Danielle is excited to meet you and your furry companions!

Hayley joined our team in October 2024. She graduated Sheridan College with a certificate in Animal Care in April 2024. Her favourite part of the job is getting to know the clients and their pets. 

When she is not in Stratford, she is in French River visiting her parents. Recently, she adopted a rescue dog from Korea, her beloved Sae-Song. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, creating art and listening to music.

Emily first joined our team in August 2017, worked with us for two years, and has now returned to the clinic in October 2025 to continue as a Veterinary Assistant.  

Emily has a passion for caring for pets and loves helping them stay happy and healthy. Emily enjoys building strong bonds with both animals and their owners, making each visit as comfortable as possible.  

At home she shares her life with her beloved Great Bernese Leila, her playful cat Ellie. She also has a flock of 10+ chickens which she loves caring for in her free time.

 

Kim joined our team in 2019. She has over 10 years of experience as a receptionist in the Veterinary World. Kim lives in Stratford and is a mother of two fine adults and have four adorable grandchildren.

Animals have been a part of Kim’s life since she was a young girl. (She still is! ). Kim has rarely been without a dog or two in her life. Probably the odd Feline and Budgie Bird as well.

In 2022 she had to say goodbye to her dear sweet Finley and Allie. The loss has been significant for her. She has not felt the urge to fill the void that they have left.For now she decided to share her love for animals with the Fur Baby clients and their humans. And when she is not at work she will be loving her littles.
